I will do a few shortish posts to catch up.
First up, still in Chicoutimi, we went down a natural cave called Le Trou de la Fee.
This is a cave located in Lac St-Jean which was home to a large population of bats. Due to the White Nose Bat Syndrome, they are down to 2 residents (sad). Men hid down there during 2nd World War to escape being drafted and swore that a fairy appeared towards the end of the war telling them they could come back up!
Le reste de mon temps a Chicoutimi a ete tres relaxant et j'ai beaucoup apprecie reconnecter avec ma culture!
Le musee du Fjord etait super interressant et la Cap Jaseux aussi avec un Arbre en Arbre "Junior" juste a mon niveau!!
Aussi il faut mentionner la meilleure poutine au monde: la poutine a Pauline a Jonquiere! Wow.
Avec sauce Hochiken (ou Hot Chicken prononce style Saguenay).
Des bons souper chez ma soeur Marie et mon Beaufrere Jean Francois!
Et tour de ponton sur le lac Kenogami!!
Au revoir Chicoutimi et a bientot car je dois retourner pour me faire enlever pierres au rein dont une qui est trop grosse pour passer toute seule. oh que j'ai hate....
