Travelling in the north east coast of the US in November is not as comfortable and easy as travelling in warm weather with long days of sun! But we were quickly made to feel cozy and nice when we stayed with our friend Rebecca's parents Marge and Brian in Gorham Maine. They are both lovely welcoming people and have a beautiful wooden house close to Portland but in the country side. The boys particularly loved the loft bedroom! We went for a nice walk on their property and Marge took us around Portland. What a beautiful coastal city! We got to eat the best donuts I have ever tasted and I am not a donut fan: Donuts made with mashed potatoes!
Our time there was really nice and we were able to get our bearings, travelling in this new country and it was a nice reminder of how welcoming and friendly americans are!! Thanks Marge and Brian!!
