Heading West! NEW ORLEANS and the Bayou

After Florida, we head west. finally. Yay! Good warm weather should stay with us for a while we hope.
Next stop: South Padre Island, in the southern most part of Texas, on the gulf of Mexico.

Petite escale a New Orleans, en passant.
Small stop in New Orleans as we drive on through:

First sighting of a trailer similar to ours! Not a lil Bigfoot but a Casita. We were so excited to see it, we nearly ripped our arms off waving at the owner! Normally we only see 50 feet trailers on the road so it was refreshing.

Boys like to make 'arrangements' of their multiple stuffies in the trailer! Hey, they have to entertain themselves and be creative. Why we have so many stuffies when we are already so crammed is a mystery...

Bus ride from our camping to the French Quarters in New Orleans.

As per usual Gareth had everyone chatting to us and it was quite a fun but long bus ride!

  A WEDDING PROCESSION

 The crazy party Bourbon Street!

Then we went on a boat tour on the Bayon to see Gators! Our boat captain had a very French name like Turcotte or something like that. It was beautiful and we saw two huge alligators! The boys got to drive the boat as well on the way back.
