First post on our blog! Title: We made it to Ontario!

Well here we are in Thunder Bay Ontario.
It's 11h30pm and the boys are swimming in the pool.
We're still on BC time so bare with us, it's 8h30pm really.
We are in a hotel tonight for a little bit of comfort needed by me, as you will see as you read further on.

It has been a week already and we have crossed so much of Canada!
Alberta was Dinosaur Park with the Boiridy-Graves and a million mosquitos.
Gareth and I (with the great help of good friends) nearly killed ourselves getting packed up to go on this trip mostly to make it on time for this organized tour Centosaurus Quarry Hike in Dino Park. We made it! We drove 10 hours from Rossland. Went to sleep all dazed and confused at campsite, got up, ran to the visitors centre to be greated by the lovely Boiridy-Graves clan to be told the hike/tour was cancelled.
Oh man.

Well we still had a fabulous time there. Charlie especially felt so happy in this setting of sand and clay mini hoodoos, free to climb and get dirty especially hanging out with his friend Mael.

After that, off to Regina to get our canopy from dodgy Ken.
Followed by a very lucky and good timing kite surf on Lost Mountain Lake in Saskatchewan.

Met a nice man called John who invited us to stay at his house by the lake. The Saskatchewan hospitality will be hard to beat!!

Then off to Manitoba for some medical and hospital visits for me who was blessed to experience kidney stones! wow! who knew something else could equal childbirth pain! yikes.
on my way to recovery i hope but staying a bit closer to hospitals than we would like, putting on hold hiking, biking and exploring national parks.

In Thunder Bay now, en route to see some friends in Bradford Ontario as well as bird watching, Niagara waterfall spraying, CN tower action and yes, more kite surfing in Long Beach Ontario in a few days (if wind cooperates)

Phew. there it is, first post: check!
